He will be missed for sure. He was a class act.

Larry King Live is dedicating the full hour to him tonight.

I'll have to try and catch that.

And you're spot on, he was a class act for sure.

If there's a chance you can't catch it, I can always cap it and post it for you. Just let me know before 10pm EST

If I'm still up I might watch this later - I think that 60 Minutes was the first time I saw american news.... years before 24 hr news channels they used to show it late at night on ITV.

Please do. We have just found out some news that will probably keep me busy this evening, so I won't be able to catch it.+

This is sad news indeed. He was, I thought, one of the better anchors on 60 minutes. (and I'd love to see that cap, Irish. Although, Larry often repeats shows on the weekend, so perhaps it will replay then as well).

I recall about 15 or 16 years ago I was visiting a friend in Florida. Her boss was the mayor of the city at that time and was dealing with some big time real estate scammers who were basically selling people property they were "developing" but when they'd drive out there, it was basically nothing. Well, apparently 60 Minutes got wind of the story and Ed Bradley came out to interview him. It was neat to see the story later after having heard all the behind the scene details. I remember him telling me that he was a really nice guy over all.

It's up in the torrent section. One of the Neville Brothers was singing a song at the end and a few seconds of it is cut off because it was on timer.

Funny, you're not the first person I've heard of who thought this.... same thing with a couple of people at work today.
