Super Bowl Sunday

Post by Skylace »

For those of you who are in the states I am sure you have heard that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the Super Bowl. I for one am rooting for them. Not because I actually give a damn but because I want a happy riot in Pittsburgh and not an angry riot
GO STEELERS!

I'm rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers only because they are East Coast homies. It's that East vs. West thing goin' on...lol! Otherwise, I don't give a rats ass about football all season long....lol! I know the rules, how the game is played, but just doesn't interest me enough to sit through a game on a weekly basis, nor flip back and forth to other games...lol! I make the effort for superbowl every year though. It brings families together. My dads side of the family used to have a big superbowl party with a superbowl cake and tasty food, the whole nine yards. Also, they are hosting it in Tampa this year at our Raymond James Stadium, so it's been abuzz here in Tampa with celebrity sightings and football player sightings. I've not seen any, but I've been hawked up in a skyscraper all week......lol! GO STEELERS! Eat 'em up! Spit 'em out! Give 'em some hurtin'! Yippee!!!!

That was exciting after all. I thought Pittsburgh had it in the bag, then after Arizona scored with like 2 minutes to go, I thought, Rut roh for Pittsburgh, but then Bang! Pittsburgh came back! That was an exciting game. Well, ta-ra football until next Superbowl....lol!

A few arrests but nothing major. Our police force took the precaution of closing 110 streets today and a lot of restaurants closed their doors early for safety measures. Quite a few dumpster fires on Forbes Avenue but for the most part everything is going just fine.
The police and fire fighters are letting the fans celebrate and just making sure nothing gets out of hand.
Pittsburgh schools are on a two hour delay tomorrow

I wonder if the drive into work will be extra hairy with people leaving the area to go back home via the airport. I have to drive around the airport into downtown Tampa. The traffic sucks on a normal day....blah! :-(

US sports fans in Arizona got a surprise when their TV coverage of American football's Super Bowl was interrupted by a pornographic film. Tucson-based KVOA-TV said it was "dismayed and disappointed" after some cable viewers had their match coverage disrupted towards the end of the game.

The company said the material was only seen by viewers of one cable network. "KVOA will investigate what happened and make sure our viewers get answers," company president Gary Nielsen said. "When the NBC feed of the Super Bowl was transmitted from KVOA to local cable providers and through over-the-air antennas, there was no pornographic material," he added. Comcast, the cable company whose viewers saw the material, said it was investigating. Local media outlets reported that they received calls from furious viewers.

The clip showed a woman unzipping a man's trousers, followed by a graphic act between the two. "I just figured it was another commercial until I looked up," viewer Cora King told the Arizona Daily Star. "Then he did his little dance with everything hanging out."

The interruption happened just after the last touchdown by the Arizona Cardinals, who lost the match to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He did his little dance?!

I heard about the pornographic thing this morning on a morning radio show. They said it wasn't everybody that it happened to. I would have laughed my ass off if that happened! LOL!! We don't get any free porno at all whether it's soft or hard. In Denmark they had the Playboy channel at night, and it came with the cable package...lol!
