This has been in the news for quite a long time here. It's such a shame. What gets to me is that it's taken cyber-bullying to really bring the problem with bullies into the media spotlight and make people take attention.
I still remember when I started teaching you would still hear "It builds character" or "Just ignore it". Pointless.
I hope these people get all that is coming to them.

Well I don't usually read american news if I can avoid it and nobody posts it here, so this is the first I've heard of it.

This woman deserves a kicking and I'd happily oversee it.

I was bullied at school. I was in no way depressive, but I hated it, naturally. The teachers did have this character building crap built in to their dismal programming and so did fuck all about it. I'd happily kick the bitch to within a millimeter of her miserable existence.

Mrs. Drew must be completely crazy to have thought this insane scheme up, recruit her daughter and an employee to assist her and then perpetrate the acts of hate. What a psycho. I do hope she does jail time for this.

"This is not a homicide case," he said.
Perhaps I'm being reactionary, but my 1st thought is: why not?

A 49-year-old ought to know better. That the girl was fragile was obvious as evidenced by the her own words. To taunt and abuse her was reckless and cruel and the possible outcome was easily forseeable. The charge should be manslaughter at the very least.
