I remember a similar story about something a while back where it struck me that the kids would just laugh... the comments from incensed moral-defenders are good too.

Inappropriate yes. Going to scar these children for life? No. Parents can take this opportunity to have some honest discussions with their kids about sex.

You're right Sky -- entirely inappropriate, but hardly life scarring. Hopefully parents will take the time to have appropriate discussions with their children --- but I have a hunch all the children will learn is how to over react to a situation like this.

 Well of course not. And that won't be the discussion that has to take place. So many parents don't talk about sex at all with kids except for "Don't do it". I taught Sex Education for three years and it was amazing some of the misinformation they had and the things that they did know. If a lot of parents were willing to talk about the good along with the bad that comes from having sex we wouldn't have the problems we have with sex and young children.

Good God - Those folks should lighten up a bit. If this starts frank and honest parent/kid discussions about sex, then I say it was a good thing. I am with you Sky, the misinformation, like just a little information, is dangerous. We can't have teenagers going forth and such with the wrong facts. Anything that opens lines of communication is a good thing!
