it's my favourite yearly festival - any excuse to dress up and hold neighbours to ransom is great!

How many trick or treaters did everyone get last night? I was shocked that we only had 15 or 16 kids in total! When I first moved here 8 or 9 years ago, we used to get around 60. I'm almost wondering if I should even bother buying candy next year.

we had none, which is strange as there's usually a few at least.

We got quite a few. Since it was our first year in this house, I have nothing to compare it to (around here) but from what the neighbors said, it was a larger number. They got 5-6 one year and last night we got about 30.

Of course, last year we got about 200

It's not hard when you live in the urban area. Like I said, last year we had about 200. Most of the kids were actually from the Manchester area, which was in walking distance of the War Streets.
