I just bought a 1tb hard drive. On the box it said 'enough storage for 20 years'. haha 20 years?! I'll have this little beauty filled up in 2 days... it's great to think that I can now store over 200 dvdrs worth of stuff (2 shelves worth) on a single drive.
If anybody wants a bundle of these old dvds (movies and tv shows) to copy from let me know - you'll need to pay the postage and return them though.
Please do yourself a favour and remember to sort out a backup solution. The bigger the drive, the bigger the heartache when it goes belly-up taking all that precious content with it.
If it lasts 20 years, that would the best-manufactured hard drive in history.
