The first Christmas special (with the killer rotating Christmas trees) was almost a standalone movie in itself and I'd not have been upset if I'd paid to see that in a cinema, so I'm sure anything they come up with will be worth seeing too. Though I'm a bit concerned by this new writer welcoming the idea so avidly when its really got so much more to do with Russell T Davies.
I probably sound like a Dr Whoovian now - but it's really not true, dagnabbit.
