There's a small weekly newsletter that you can buy here in local shops every week called 'The Digger'. There's very little info about who runs it, but whoever it is they have their fingers in a lo of pies and aren't afraid to talk about them... vigilante journalism of a sort. Their targets are always the very worst people - gangsters, money lenders, heroin dealers etc - so any thought of their rights can whistle!
Anyway, here's a great example of the kind of thing that features in the pamphlet. I've highlighted a couple of bits - the first one made me laugh out loud. 'Coupon' in Glasgow slang means face... The most important part of this story is how it will cause ructions between the gangsters - they'll all be laughing at this guy for letting his wife be seen like this being skint and it won't be pretty if the author is ever found, I'm sure.

I added it in because I did the scan
and no, I don't run the thing -
I've changed the pic now in case anyone else thinks that I'd be the person who'd post stuff about a gangster in a public newspaper...

This is the same 'Publication' is it not, that caused grief to some youngster by naming him as a 'Grass'...
From what I recall, the pamphlet itself has more slander based on boredom (made up stories by the staff) than the Sun.

Where do you hear that story 6ul? I've been reading it for a while and the only things I've seen that are direct comments are aimed at the 'big men'.
btw, it's an a4 folded (a5 pages) pamphlet that's only recently advanced to having a gloss cover.

It was one of those ned sites you linked to quite some time ago...
There were some video clips, one involved quite a long story about this 'paper' & the young lad (who now fears for his life).
