Somewhere over the rainbow

Post by faceless »

This isIsrael Kamakawiwo'ole's version of the classic song - it's been featured on the Galloway show a fair bit recently. I was thinking there's probably loads of other cover versions, so I'll try and find a few.

Nice one! I love this version, although I'm a very pedantic bitch so I can't help but point out that it's actually an amalgamation of both Over The Rainbow and Wonderful World - 2 for the price of 1.

Here's Eva Cassidy's version, which is amazing towards the end. Gets me every time.

No wonder GG had such trouble pronouncing his name. That's quite a tongue-twister.

Is it possible to download the .mp3 without registering on that site?

Cheers!
