Commonwealth Games 2014 - in Glasgow

The announcement came today that Glasgow is to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games. I'm not sure what to think about it really, but a spanking new stadium and an opening ceremony at Celtic Park will be good to see I'm sure. The picture above is of the greens that will be used for the Bowls championship - it's just along the road from me here.

Looks to me like they wil be bowling uphill....

haha - we're tough up here! Actually the bowling greens are on the other side of the building, I got it wrong...

No excuse to not get in training for the 10,000 metre cycle sprint now eh?



Also Aidan's Airbus needs to relocate to Glasgow for a few weeks me thinks.
