After the weekend of friendlies featuring Parma at Celtic and Chelsea at Rangers I was impressed to see both Scottish teams winning. Celtic won 1-0 and Rangers 2-0.

I hate to say it, but I'm more impressed with the Rangers score - though knowing the links between the two clubs I reckon there was probably some funny-handshakes involved!

I especially liked the attempt at an overhead kick gone wrong which made the 'pass' for the goal

I'm in a great mood here as I just watched Celtic get through to the Champions League after beating Spartak Moscow on penalties after extra time. Both teams missed penalties during the game itself and it really was a great game of footie.

Rangers got through last night too, so that's both Scottish teams with the chance into the Champions League which is brilliant news for the country really. Of course, I won't be saying that if they both end up in the same group...

Mon ra cellic!
