Rome

Post by harry perkins »

The last episode was tonight, did anyone watch it? I've been following and enjoying it, though its been annoying how the BBC put on two episodes a week making it go much faster than I'd have liked.

Do you mean Rome the 2-season TV series? It ended much too soon for my liking, and the 2nd season seemed shorter than the 1st.

I was a bit disappointed with the ending. Probably most because it was an enthralling story; partly due to the loss of some main characters (which I won't spoil for those who haven't watched it yet).

It was my favourite series on tv for the short time it ran.

I've been waiting for the end of the series so that I can get the whole thing and watch it over a couple of days... and I'm looking forward to it now.

I recently finished the book 'Pompeii' and was more than impressed with the realisation of people of the time, so it will be interesting to see if that feeling comes across as well.

It ended so long ago in the states. I did enjoy it. I thought the series was great. However, it's wasn't as good as I, Claudius (in my opinion)
