The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Set to be shown on US TV in 2008 is based on the TERMINATOR movies, not including the 3rd movie BTW...
From what I have read so far online, the show fills the gaps between the 2nd & third movie, has a good terminator & a bad terminator.
A copy of the first episode is circulating on the internet right now, however, I think this is a version that is being re-done before it's first showing on TV (& maybe perhaps the reason for it being leaked to prospective fans)...
The re-do / re-shoot is down to the storyline & depiction of a school being shot up by a terminator.
(Fears that it is too akin to real life events recently)
It sounds like it might have legs but it's current scheduled tme slot is for Sunday nights at 9pm on Fox (after Simpsons / American Dad timeslots).
I am in two minds as to watch the pilot or wait for the show to come hit TV next year...

it does sound like it could be good - I read that thing about them redoing one episode because of the school-shooting, and wasn't too impressed though. These things happen and it's not as if something that's broadcast next year is going to be that insensitive. It could just be a marketing ploy to get people aware of the show of course.
Just got done watching the pilot (ohhh naughty me)...
The one circulating is indeed the version with the school shooting in it.
I must say this: Certainly peeked my interest in the entire series.
Not often do I see a pilot episode that grabs me by the balls & makes me ache for the rest of the show.
I feel that during it's first few weeks it will be bumped from it's Sunday slot & moved to a more serious slot... that or a repeat during a week night.
