editing a flash movie

Post by faceless »

I've never got into using flash that much, but yesterday I had a go at editing a flash animation and was surprised at how relatively easy it was.

First of all I saved the flash animation using the 'unplug' plugin for Firefox, then loaded that .swf file into SoThink's SWF Decompiler. Once in there, I used the option to 'save as .FLA' and did that.

Then I loaded the FLA file into Flash8 and was able to edit the properties of various images and then save the movie as a SWF again. There were some bits that I couldn't work out how to change, but I'll get round to that.

There is a SWF password cracker available HERE if you come across a file that is protected.

If anyone wants a copy of Flash MX Professional 2004, I can give you it with the keygen. It's a superb programme and I use it every day almost.
