"Judge" loses $54m trousers claim
I thought there was a thread on this a few month ago, but I can't find it. Maybe it was archived.
Glad the court ruled against this outrageous claim.

I especially like that the NLRB has called for him to be disbarred.
This part confused me:
According to the Washington Post, he also added the cost of hiring a car every weekend to enable him to drive to an alternative dry-cleaners for the next 10 years.
It would have been much cheaper if he hired a taxi to just drop the dry cleaning off and pick it up two days later. And for that matter there are a ton of dry cleaners who pick up and deliver. WTF was he renting, the Space Shuttle?

I know, idiotic, wasn't it? Apparently he factored in all this stuff like his transportation, etc. just because the sign in the shop said "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and he felt he wouldn't be satisfied any other way.11antoniacourt wrote:I especially like that the NLRB has called for him to be disbarred.

And I'm very happy he had to pay the court costs of the store owners.

What do you know? I guess reason prevails after all.
fyi, here's the original thread (which, to my surprise, I started).
