Happy Flag Day!

Post by SpursFan1902 »

It's Flag Day here in the US. Most people in the US probably don't know that, but freak that I am, I do. I believe that is is also Bastille Day in France, so salute your flag and decapitate someone!!

It was an afterthought to add it, but I think you are right, it is July.

We are, but we have to do a special dance while we wave today! Like I said, I don't think most people even know and we don't really do anything special, it is just one of those holidays you always see on the calendar. The constant flag waving really only started after 9/11. The popularity of having a flag on your house or on display was actually waning before that, with the exception of holidays like Memorial Day and 4th of July.
