Lost
Lost
So the show's finishing its third series this evening with a double episode and I can't wait to see how it turns out. I got quite into the first series, then lost interest in the second, but got it back again in bucket-loads by the middle of the third series, after watching a whole load in a marathon session. It's been brilliant.
Anyway, I just found this interview with Michael Emerson, who plays bad-guy "Ben"...

I watched last night's 2 hour finale and it was AWESOME!!!!! There were so many cool moments, I can't begin to name them all (also don't want to spoil anything).
We were screaming at the TV during certain moments ..... but the ending was .... well, it left me feeling "lost".
Can't wait for the 4th series to begin this fall.

I had the two shows on a disc and watched it - then when it suddenly ended I thought I'd only seen the first one, that was how much I'd got engrossed in it.
I'd never have thought they could drag it out further, but I can see how they could now - I'm more than looking forward to a new series too...
At this rate it could go for years!

I've not watched one episode of Lost. I've just been burned so many times watching a new series, only to have them cancel it after the first and second season. I've heard nothing but raves about how good this show is. I'll have to buy or rent a dvd with the series so I can see what all the hype is about....lol!
there are series recaps that you could watch, but you really have to start at the beginnning as there's so many plot twists and interleaves ... it's well worth it though. There are some sections that will probably bore the socks off you, but it is all backup to the characters as you see them and in the end (so far) it makes sense.
You're probably looking at about 50 solid hours of tv so far - it's no small task!

I didn't watch an episode until after the 1st season, but whipped through the dvd's in little more than a single weekend. I've been hooked since.
That said, I'm not crazy about last the season finale, but I can live with it.
I heard (or saw from the extras on the dvd's) that they had a 5-year plot in mind. I just wish they would pay off more of the mysteries they've introduced. For the most part, they introduce more mysteries and don't explain away others.
Still, it's an excellent series, a close contender for my favourite series -- Heroes.
