Galloway's just announced that he's going to be taking Jon Gaunt's place on the daily (10am-1pm) show for the next 2 weeks... I'm sure it will be good stuff, but it's a lot of work to record all those shows, so if anyone's up for recording some that would be great.

I was surprised to hear that, too. But with this gagging order he's got on him because of local elections I'm not sure how good the shows will turn out to be.

I'm not sure how the censorship of him stops him discussing the ships position in Iranian/Iraqi waters. If he doesn't mention Blair, I thought he would have free reign...

Speaking of the "gag" George currently has... what is it actually called. He's mentioned it a few times but his accent makes it hard to know what the word is.

He is saying something like he is under a "purder"... but he pronounces it "puhh-duhh", so I am confused...

I'll happily program my computer to record the extra episodes. Hopefully, I'll get the time right (10am-1pm GMT should be 2am-5am PST, I think).

I'm having some trouble getting my head around the days. M-F? that's 2x5 = 10. Including weekends makes 14. Where did the number 16 come from? It must be 3 weekends starting this weekend, ending on April 15th.

Will he still be doing his regular (10pm-1am) show? At this rate I hope he doesn't burn himself out.

I could post them in uncut mp3 format. I prefer to edit out all commercials, sports updates and "how low" auctions, but this requires listening to each episode to make sure I haven't missed any. So would people rather have them, ASAP or as-uncluttered-as-possible?

From daytime shows in the past I've taken more than an hour of crap from a 3 hour show and I doubt these will be much different, so it would be much better to have them edited. Thing is though, it's a lot of work involved in making this all available, so if you and anyone else who can record them wants to leave a message here to say they're providing it on each day then that will sort out a plan hopefully.

I capture them (religiously) anyway and edit out the nasty bits for my own listening. But since it's just for me (so far) it's done to my own schedule.

I'll keep doing this regularly and post them somewhere like sendspace. During the week, the editing won't be done until I'm home from work, so they'll be almost a day late at best. So please be patient.

I'm not bothered about the format - the reason I do them as WMA is because I can pause while I'm directly recording to that format.

The 16 days thing was me thinking that the show was still on sunday btw...

I believe GG said in yesterday's show that he would be on Monday through Thursday (plus his regular Friday and Saturday episodes).
