Celta want lucky rabbit feet to help defeat Real

MADRID (Reuters) - Struggling Primera Liga side Celta Vigo have called on their fans to loan their lucky charms to the club in the hope they can beat Real Madrid and stave off the threat of relegation.

"Bring your garlic, holy water, rabbit's foot or even a whole rabbit to the club offices between March 19 and April 1 and leave it there until after the match against Real Madrid," read a plea on the club's Web site (www.celtavigo.net).

"Let's see if together it can bring us some luck at Balaidos."

Celta, who are a point above the relegation zone, have won just one match at their Balaidos stadium this term. They did, however, manage to beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu earlier in the season.

I suspect the stink alone will make the Madrid players so ill they won't be on their game.
