embedding video in a post

okie doke - for the one you posted yesterday of the Bushisms I went to the link and right-clicked on the video itself as it played then selected "properties" which displays an info box. At the bottom of the box is "location", I copied that address and pasted it between labels like this:

<embed src="address of file">

and that did the trick.

For stuff from youtube or google you click on the "embed code" or "post to myspace" options and copy and paste that bit of code directly into a post here and it should show when you click on "preview post"

Marcella, thanks for asking. I've always been meaning to ask about this but seem to forget. Just hope I remember to read this thread the next time I want to post video.
