Install the software and off you go.. lots of US Networks, including the sports ones which show English footy. Also check out Star Sports and CCTV5 on Saturdays for live football too, but with chinese commentary.
They also have Disney channel, HBO, Animal planet and lots more.
The best part, 'cause I know there are several other systems out there that have this sort of service, is that it's really well organised and has an actual TV Guide to tell you what's now and next.
I'm watching HBO movies just now, in nice quality. The way they have the program setup it's possible to add a channel too... things might happen if that can work.
There are a few other peer to peer programs out there that work in a similar way, but its the user interface (ie, it's in English) and the TV guide that makes this so good.
Plus, as you say, its set up to allow you to broadcast channels, and they even give you the code to allow you to embed the player onto your own page.
HBO is good, and you should check out the live footy on the weekend.

That's what I'm so excited about, watching footie The matches that aren't shown here probably will be on there and I'm one happy girl!!
Thanks again maycm. It's probably one of the best things I've seen posted about.

Curious...I haven't really looked at the regular US networks... are they west coast feeds?
This will be good around the time of the Superbowl also when we can get to see the US adverts, instead of the crappy Global ones*. Lets face it, no one actually enjoys the game

*This is a Canadian joke
I'm not sure what the feeds are, but a few of the channels I have here aren't the same as on there. TVLand for instance is entirely different content, as are a couple others.
I know the USA has a lot of the same channels as we do but they've usually different things on. Either way, it's all good
I had it on last night watching a film whilst burning a dvd on my other computer and have it on now checking it out. I just can't believe how clean the feed is and the picture is crystal clear.
I'm loving this (as i've mentioned previously) lol
