[align=center]'Velvet Soup' was a B.B.C Scotland sketch show created largely by the team behind 'Chewin' The Fat'. It starred Steven McNicoll, Gavin Mitchell, Julie Duncanson and Mark McDonnell. Much like the 1970's B.B.C sketch show 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', 'Soup' featured some rather macabre skits, such as the sketch where Mark McDonnell dreams he is eating giant marshmallows, only then to wake up and find himself lying next to a blood-stained skeleton (he had eaten his wife while he was asleep)
