serves the record industry right for keeping cd prices high. about 10 years ago me and a mate got a double cd made up ( i've still got a couple of boxes left! i'll do a special offer for any couchers wanting a copy
) and the price to manufacture them was really cheap - the mark up on them was great, so for big labels manufacturing hundreds of thousands to millions of copies they'd have been making massive profits. its the same with dvd's now - look at manufacturing costs and at what they are selling for! massive rip off.
i still use cd's on my main stereo as it doesn't have mp3. i've never had an ipod or any mp3 player - i did buy my mum one though. i haven't bought a cd for over a decade, i just burn mp3's to cd! i still listen to vinyl records, i've got way more vinyl than i do cd's. a lot of the music i was listening to in the 90's and into the 00's was only released on vinyl.
i've still got loads of tapes! shame i haven't got a walkman
