Escapees hitch ride back to jail

Three New South Wales prison escapees will face court today after being caught when they hailed an unmarked police car and tried to hitch a ride.

The men are alleged to have escaped from a minimum security jail at Ivanhoe earlier this week and were re-captured at Buronga near the New South Wales-Victorian border yesterday.
