Daily Mail stories always depress me :(

But it reminded me of this bit of typography :)

but she was doing it as a dare - I once had a pal stand on the bar in a really busy pub and do something similar after he lost a bet, though I'm not sure if he'd have got a placard and walked up a busy road...

Nice job! he looks cute, but dressed a bit slovenly. He's good for a bit of fun on the side until something real good comes along though! You go girl! :-)

Maybe to shower, wear a nice ironed shirt with slacks, and perhaps take that hat off? It's okay to dress casual, but this is the time to dress to impress. Since he isn't, he's not making an effort, so he's good fer a bit of fun until it gets boring or until she's ready to find a good 'un.

sounds a bit over the top for sharing a bargain bucket at kfc, but kfc probably wouldn't be fancy enough for you :nyer:

I say he should push the boat out and do something a little more nicer like an Argee Bhargee or something. KFC blech! Haven't eaten that shite in many many years. So much more better chicken places than that.

i'm guessing argie bargie means something different in america, here it means to have an argument - a bit of a ruck! not a good outcome on a first date, even if you are dressed up smart

Luke - Argee Bhargee an Indian restaurant on EE. I have to agree with you. I thought he looked a bit of alright. I don't like dressed up, preppy looking guys. I don't trust 'em. I like guys who look comfy...

thanks spurs, strange name for a restaurant giving its slang meaning, or maybe quite suitable from what i remember of eastenders

comfy always wins for me. i had to dress up smart last week, proper smart trousers, shirt and shoes - it felt so weird
