Tom Wrigglesworth
Tom Wrigglesworth has landed his own Radio 4 series, based on his campaigning 2009 Edinburgh show. The new programmes will see him take on various consumer affairs, following his success taking on Richard Branson over extortionate fares on Virgin Trains.
The live show which described his fight, prompted by a run-in with a jobsworth train manager, was previously made into a one-off radio show earlier this year. Now he is to take on more issues, such as the bureaucracy of parking tickets, in a series of Tom Wrigglesworth’s Open Letters starting in February.
