It seems most people who support that group see him as someone who was pushed to the edge, suffering from some form of mental illness.
I actually find it more offensive that Cameron has said he shouldn't be given any consideration... There are people who've done much worse things in jails and psychiatric hospitals now, so does that mean he thinks that none of them are worth anything either? And, of course, he calls many mass killers 'heroes' just because they killed people while in the service of the military.
On checking now I see the facebook group has been removed.

not that i'm for raul moat! but the government shouldn't be able to remove what it wants from the net.
maybe it was advertising pressure - i heard on the radio earlier that there used to be some nazi type page on facebook, and apparently facebook shows adverts and the advertisers got a bit pissed so facebook removed it
