but oh no, they've just scored again... dagnabbit!

Schweinsgteiger!!!!!

Watching the Spain-Paraguay game now - it's pretty exciting with them both missing penalties within a couple of minutes.

I put Spain as my tip for the win this year, so they best gets to sorting it out!

I enjoyed it very much this afternoon, I have a real dislike for Argentina. They've never done me any harm, I don't know anyone from there, I've never been there, i just don't like 'em.

Germany played very well though. Hope they beat Spain. Don't like that lot either.

:crazed:

We have dubbed this the Karma Cup. France imploded because they cheated to get into the cup...Argentina is still paying for all the diving and Maradona and, unfortunately, if the Karma thing holds true, Holland will beat Germany in the final...I have really enjoyed this World Cup. South Africa seems to have done a fine job. I haven't heard of any problems and that is good. I am glad they have done so well. Germany was a hard act to follow...

well there we go - Spain and Holland for the final. Although I thought Spain would win from the start I'm not sure if they'll win against the Dutch.

It'll be a great game I'm sure though.

Hmm... Had my money on Germany. They've played the best football of any team, i think. But got to hand it to Puyol, he must have started his jump outside the 18-yard box! lol!

Spain v Netherlands - Wonderful!

I'll be supporting spain - their football is sublime. But I'll be happy if nl wins as well, since I was supporting br, arg, esp, nl :D

I should mention that Germany played like nl this year - total football. Their counter attack was against England and Argentina was simply too quick and too effective for the opponents.

No wonder I was never a fan of English footballers.

Well, since my better half is half Dutch half Deutsch, it'll be the cloggies :)

I do like the way that Spain play, but it's a tad too fancy for me. They played really well though, in the first 25 minutes Germany were being primed to be tired out in the last 20.
