
Frank Sidebottom's got cancer

The comedian who plays the role of cult character, Frank Sidebottom, has revealed it before everyone that he is undergoing the treatment of cancer. Frank, the comic character that became famous for his bulky Paper Mache head, its maker Chris Sievey informed fans that a tumor had been found in his chest.
He said that after going through all hospital scans and X-rays as well as cameras down him and so on, it is confirmed that he suffering from cancer. Despite his condition, he has asked his followers and fans to not to be worried about him. In fact, he said that he is looking forward to another 25 years in this fantastic profession of show business. At present, he has taken off from live shows for some time, in order to take proper rest.
Wannabe pop star Frank is known for humorous cover versions and songs on his hobbies - which he describes as "really fantastic". He became a staple of the college comedy circle in the 1980s, by frequently making an appearance on Mark Radcliffe's previous Radio 1 show and even now has a devoted fan following. He jokingly wrote on his blog that for his next release, it will definitely be Chemotherapy is Really Fantastic.
