...I had to give up....I actually quite like Ken and while I think some of his ideas are mis-guided I think he does his best in any job but my god he has an annoying voice.

I actually thought that his voice wasn't as bad as all that. Interesting stuff, and however he comes across it's nice to have another left winger on the radio.

i wasn't going to record todays show, but i turned it on whilst eating my breakfast to hear ken say the next hour was going to be with tony benn :) so i started recording, about quarter of an hour in my computer just switched itself off. which it did again after i'd booted it up. i managed to record a further 6 minutes and it did again. luckily my audio recorder allows you to recover the file it was recording so heres the intro of ken and tony benn, and a few minutes of them answering calls where tony benn says 'there is no moral difference between a suicide bomber and a stealth bomber'

now that galloway's show has finished would anyone be interested in ken livingstone's show?

he's just had karl from plaistow on giving it hardcore to tory blogger iain dale

i quite often have it on in the morning so i don't mind recording it when i can if people would like it. theres usually a lot of london based chat ( being london radio ) but they have talks on the media and the big stories, and with the election currently on that should makes things more interesting to those not so interested in london. plus you get ken's weekly gardening tip :)

i've not listened to it yet, but i heard the previous presenter say that because of the election and the laws about balance, ken was joined by david mellor
