Danny Dyer - I Believe In UFOs
This is fairly interesting as Dyer tries the Louis Theroux type of documentary, with added fack-offs and geezers

Haha I watched this the other night was a treat, good old danny fackin dyer, he can only ever be one character regardless of the circumstances. loved him trying to be all proper infront of patrick moore. did you see the I believe in ghosts one last week with that guy from eastenders? that was quite funny too, little bit spooky at the end though.

yeah it is pretty good really - him meeting Patrick Moore was a cracker for sure, you don't often see such a contrast in people.

I didn't see that other one, but I'll see if I can find it for the Eastenders fans.

cheers

Yeah, I thought it was only an hour anyway, I thought I had watched all of it.

the american guy, 28mins in, he shows a letter on the screen.

in the letter the word 'there' is incorrect, shouldn't it be 'their'?

i doubt someone in that line of work would make simple mistakes like that!

Yes, it does seem like an error that well-educated people wouldn't make in an important letter. There could be all kinds of reasons though. I doubt the guy typed it himself (probably dictated it) and then just scanned & signed. Also, I find, since I've now spent several years abroad in a non English-speaking country, that I often make mistakes like this when I never would have before (brain goes into a kind of phonetic-spelling mode sometimes and like-sounding words get switched). Maybe he'd spent a lot of time abroad somewhere.

Borstal Boy
In 1941, 16-year-old IRA volunteer Brendan Behan (Shawn Hatosy) is going on a bombing mission from Ireland to Liverpool during the Second World War. His mission is thwarted when he is apprehended, charged and imprisoned in Borstal, a reform institution for young offenders in East Anglia, England. At Borstal, Brendan is forced to live face-to-face with those he perceived as "the enemy," a confrontation that reveals a deep inner conflict in the young Brendan and forces a self-examination that is both traumatic and revealing. Events take an unexpected turn and Brendan is thrown into a complete spin. In the emotional vortex, he finally faces up to the truth.
