I am currently feeling little to no pain...watching Ferris Bueller and about to have a piece of pizza. Life is good. Everything went just fine. I was a little scared at first, but it was a great place and everyone was really nice and calming. I was home by noon. We will have to see how I feel tomorrow, but right now, I am ok. Thanks for the well wishes... xxoo

 I can just picture that scene

Spurs, glad to hear that you're doing so well! Be careful with the pizza and stuff so early on--- you might get a few spasms.... but ultimately it's great that you even feel like eating :)

Wishing you the speediest of recoveries --- but don't push yourself too hard :)

That is great that you are already feeling pretty good. Hope it lasts for you.

Like eefan said, be careful with pizza and other greasy heavy foods. My friend had some pizza a few days after her surgery and it made her feel a bit icky. Hope that didn't happen to you.

Keep us updated.

The pizza did well. I feel fine. I think the difference is that my gall bladder actually worked, it was just the stones causing problems. I am sore and sort of sluggish from the pain meds, but good otherwise.

My niece and nephews were all afraid to come near me until I showed them the bandages and then they could see exactly where they had to be careful...no big body hugs (which are normal), no snuggling (boo)...I have tried to explain it to the 5 year old exactly what they did ( my gall bladder didin't work so the doctors took it out...), and I told him that your gall bladder is behind your rib cage. He now keeps saying "I don't want to hurt your broken rib cages" Ha Ha! They have all been very sweet, getting me things, taking my plate and such. I have an awesome family!

I have opted not to go my French Final Review as I thought that might be pushing it a little. It was not mandatory and I have a study guide, so I will have to work with that. I think I would actually fall asleep! :snooze:

That is great that the family is so supportive. Nothing helps the healing go faster then an awesome family around you.

Smart woman. Glad you are taking it easy. It will be better for you in the long run and as long as you have that study guide you're good to go!

I also had a classmate take notes. This is an online class, so there is no oral portion. I should be ok.

It is kinda weird to just sit around. I have been so busy for so long, that it just seems wrong to be doing absolutely nothing. I am beginning to get used to it though..
