Wow thats quite a statement. I was thinking though if you think The Beastie Boys are shit why do you use them as a comparison? I like them both but i would not put The bloodhound gang on the same page as BB's.

It's because Jimmy Pop Ali, the Bloodhound Gang founder, complains that he used to ALWAYS be mistaken for one of The Beastie Boys. The music is only similar in the fact that they are both mainly white, suburbian, sexual punk/rap/nerdcore bands.

Jimmy Pop Ali's a fuckin God, though! I'd so do him. He's in the same mental category that I place Anthony "Sir Mixalot" Ray - seems like a jerk and a sexist until you actually hear him speak and realise he's massively intelligent and sweet.

Plus anyone who's willing to tongue a dog in the name of art is a dedicated fellow in my book.
