They lied as usal ....

Post by Aja »

Weathermen said a few snow flurries this morning ....it took me an hour to do an 8 min journey to work .....and on top of that my wipers stopped working and i was blind as a bat driving ......grrr another 300 bucks out of pocket to get them fixed ..... I just spent 2100 bucks that I did not have on a new transmission last week :(

Wow! you guys got hit a lot harder than we did. We had snow here, but nothing like that. Sorry to hear that Aja. Sorry about the car as well. It's so frustrating when those fixes happen. I had to have the transmission replaced on a car once and it was such an expense. I just kept reminding myself it was cheaper than a new car.

The last time we had snow like that was probably 10 years ago - it looks great!

sorry to hear you had to spend so much though

yes Sky the car was worth investing in...and I was telling myself the same thing ...cheaper than a new car...but why now :) Thats the one thing i hate about here car parts like that are so expensive....It was never that pricey back home .... dam for a grand I coulda got a nice little car .....and also most of my mates were mechanics so car repairs were cheap ..oh well that was then ..this is now :) and the sad thing without a car here in this area we are prisoners....

anyways Face we have got off lightly with snow the past couple of years..but they say this year we are going to get hit hard  so expect lots more snow pics from me over the months ....I love the snow when I don't have to go to work in it .... :cold:

I hear you there. I hate going to work in the snow. I would much rather be at home with the hot chocolate and my fuzzy slippers!
