The '80s was the coolest decade

80s voted 'The Coolest Decade'[/align]

Some group of people somewhere have decided that the 80s were the coolest decade. Having grown up at that time, I can only mention Flock of Seagulls to blow the theory out of the water!

While there was a lot of cool stuff in the 80s I can't think it was the coolest decade ever.

It was the coolest decade for me, but that's because I was a teenager through the whole thing...lol! Not to say I didn't enjoy the 90's. Those come in second for me. ;-)

I was a teenager then as well but I don't think they were the "coolest" ... I can't really say any one decade is the coolest. They all have their pros and cons.

I was in my 20's during the '80's ( I turned 20 in 1982) and I must say that if I never see leg warmers, little lacy white socks w/pumps or anything in neon again, it will be too soon! The music sounds much better now than when it came out, I think mainly due to nostalgia, and I think it was our generations that killed the ozone with all of the hairspray! All in all, I can say some good times were had, but my fav....don't know about that.

Ah, there's many Canadian girls that have contributed to that with a can or two of "French Formula" hairspray
