I'm all for correct language, but if the point of what they had before was understood, then why does it need to be made into 'plain English'? Tesco must have a building full of spare people sitting about on their arses if they can be bothered with this kind of malarkey!

I agree with this. "Ten items or less" is incorrect. It should be "Ten items or fewer".
