If the model was made to show support for him then I could understand the attack, but it's just a historical exhibition. I suppose this mad bugger would want to burn books that talk about Hitler too!

They are upset about Hitler, but not Cruise? Strange after Berlin gave him such a hard time and not allowing him to film there because of his religion (I am not commenting either way ion the validity of Scientology as a religion). Hitler just evokes such strong, passionate emotion that it will be quite awhile before he will be seen as "just a part of history" to be represented. I don't agree with the man's actions, but I can understand where they came from. As a History major, I agree that any collection that calls itself "The History of Germany" can not be considered complete without a section on Hilter/WWII. I visited a museum in Bonn that was called The German History Museum and they had a very extensive section on Hitler/WWII/Holocaust. They discussed everything in detail and did not leave anyting out. It was well done and very factual. The artical is right, Hitler is part of Germany's history and should not be left out any more than slavery should be left out of US history. Not all history is pretty.
