everyone I know who's watched the original has really enjoyed it - I've not seen any of it myself though. Why do they need to do a remake though? I thought it was basically a cop series set in the 70s??

I LOVED Life on Mars...caught it on BBC America.

From that trailer it looks like they've just made this ABC version so it looks American. The plot, characters, etc, even some of the dialogue are all the same. Oh well...may watch the first few episodes and see how it goes.

Well, it's about a present day cop who wakes up in the 70s.

But I agree, I don't see the point of a remake.

Unless they think Americans may have problems understanding our Brit accents hahaha.

I still haven't watched any of it, but I've got this idea in my head that because it's set so far back that it won't matter when I watch it... smart eh?!
