CRAIGLANG'S FINEST FACE A BLOODY WIPEOUT
By Steve Hendry
FORD Kiernan and Greg Hemphill have revealed that Still Game could end in bloody murder for the Craiglang pensioners. The duo - back as OAPs Jack and Victor in a new series of the BBC comedy - said they already knew how the show would end. And it won't be happy.
Ford said: "All I can say is that it will be holocaustal. "When we did the last Chewin' The Fat on radio, we did everybody in with a shotgun. We took every single character out. So maybe there will be a guy sitting in Craiglang cemetery, shooting them one by one."
Ford said it was unlikely they would leave the door open for a future series. He added: "On the one hand, you would like to just leave them in that Oor Wullie cartoon world, where you could go back and revisit them. But as much as the money and security is great, there's nothing worse than people knowing you are just doing it for the cash. The only thing that's certain is that Jack and Victor will be the last two to go. They'll get done in during the last wee bit after the final credits roll."
Still Game will be shown on May 17 on BBC 2 at 10pm
