Fascinating stuff.
Eye color unlocked
Indeed it's rather nice to finaly find out the conundrum of eye colors....
I knew a young couple a good few years back who ended up divorced because they both had blue eyes, as did generations on both sides, their child has brown eyes & the guy was convinced that the wife had been sleeping around. (Pre DNA Testing for paternity).
I wonder if these scientists can explain color change... apart from the joke of having 'Red eyes' sometimes, my eyes do appear to change color & I have seen the same in other people too...
I was born with Hazel eyes... yet at times they appear dark brown & often other times green?

That has already been explained. It has to do with blood flow to the eyes. It's common. I have it as well. My eyes range from green to ice blue.6ULDV8 wrote:Indeed it's rather nice to finaly find out the conundrum of eye colors....

Red eye is really just a reflection of the blood supply to the eyes---- it's picked up by the camera flash --- FYI, in dogs, it will reflect as blue.Skylace wrote:That has already been explained. As for eye colours that seem to range (like Sky mentioned hers do), there again, it's a reflection of light, so can change depending upon what clothing someone is wearing or what type of light they're in (sunlight, candle light, etc.).
