Beadle's not About anymore

Post by faceless »

I just heard on the news that Jeremy Beadle has died aged 59 after a bout of pneumonia. I hope they give him a big hand at his funeral.

This is all too depressing ... reminds us of our own mortality.

If he was still around he'd probably give you the finger...or at least part of one.

Listen, these jokes are a little close to the knuckle for my liking. I mean, the mans still warm for goodness sake, so lets nail this down and stop it being a bone of contention or trying to palm us off with poor jokes, that, lets face it, do not really make you paws for thought.

no, one hand was smaller than the other

from wiki 'Beadle had Poland syndrome[8] and was noted for being one of the first TV presenters with a visible disability, manifested as a disproportionately small right hand'

Hate to be the downer on this, but he tried his best, he made lots of people laugh (as well as scared), he made a name for himself.

In my eyes, he was a GOOD man.

May he rest in peace.

p.s. This is a public forum, and his relatives might very well stumble on the topic.
