No Smoking

One thing I noticed a few weeks ago for the first time was the no smoking sign in the launderette. They could have put it on the wall but I guess they wanted to make sure no one would miss it so it is suspended by string or wires from the ceiling. It is any scene near the door. In Dot's laundrette.

It's been there for a while. Dot even had it pointed it out to her when she went to light up in there.

Yes, thinking back now, I bet it was put up right around the time when Pat was rubbing Peggy's nose in the no smoking ban. Wasn't Pat letting everyone smoke and play cards in the betting shop and Peggy was worried about losing business due to the smoking ban?

Yep. And Yolande was giving Dot a hard time about the smoking in the laundrette.
