It's lucky it was on the top floor - but the fact that people had to stay in operating theatres after the staff knew the fire was holding must have made things pretty tense!

That's awful, and pretty scary. All hospitals have disaster plans for situations like this, but I'll bet most of the staff didn't think they'd ever have to use it.

Fire is SO not my friend! These kind of stories scare the crap outta me...
