I wasn't expecting much from Galloway's warning last night that he would be singing two songs on tonight's Christmas show... but I was quite surprised really.
I've not heard them yet - I'm just downloading the show now and I'll give it a listen. I'm glad to hear you were pleasantly surprised, Face - I'm looking forward to hearing them now, hehe!
I know stuff like this shouldn't piss me off, but it does. There are enough people out there already who consider George a joke - it doesn't help that he allows tossers to run his websites, even if technically it's they who are taking advantage of his internet naivete...
I offered to fix his official myspace page last year, but when I contacted the person he said to talk to they were obviously not interested in being shoved aside... it's a catch-22

And I'm sure that any photographer would be happy to have their work used, if asked - it is for charidee after all...
The volunteers doing the myspace page aren't doing it for personal fame or glory. If someone comes up with a better design, they will appreciate it, and will use it if practical.
More strength to those volunteers, but maybe he should put aside a few hundred quid to pay someone for work that will, in the end, publicise him in a good light. He's not a charity case after all. I've done work for charities before (CND for example) and this kind of administrative cost is standard.
