So, what's gonna happen when Vernon finally gets wind that Liz initially cancelled the wedding? Anything? Boy did she make a big mistake. He's such a lazy lummox. If you want a liability in life, Vernon is your man. Well........I think Liz is in for a long and torturous life with Vernon. She'll probably start an affair up with Jim.

Mmmm...I think Liz's look at the end of the first episode last night said it all. I've yet to watch the second one but will catch it later to see how things went.

What got me about it all was the blood stain on Vernon's jacket... the first pic is as they're getting married, but the second is later in the pub - rubbish continuity! I'm guessing they filmed the scenes at the pub in one go, then did the reception later...

We all know that Liz needs a man, but Vernon only loosely fits that description, why would any woman marry such a waste of space?

Was it just me or did anyone else hear Liz say Jim while repeating her full name during the wedding vows? " I Elizabeth Jim Macdonald" I know Vernon is a lazy git but I do feel bad for him a little bit, he loves Liz sooo much and it was nice of him not to turn Jim into the police for Steve's sake.

..and don't count on someone else (such as Vernon's mate) shopping Jim.

I felt a bit bad for Vernon too, but so bad as to be stuck with the lummox for life? LOL!! Oh well, it's all gonna end in tears.
