Sometimes I get so bored ..... and do not know what to cook .....So I looked in My fridge and cupboards .... and I found chix and peppers and tortillas ..... and My likkle fajita grill i bought for 15 bucks 3 years ago ....Hey Presto :)

Ajas Fajitas..........

It was a lonely nite the fella was at work and it was just me and kilo and the fajita grill.....oh and chix and stuff :)

what u need

2 chix breasts sliced nicely

a mix of red and green and yellow peppers

a large onion sliced

garlic salt .paprika .black pepper and

a pack of old el paso fajita seasoning mix .....( I am sure i could make a good mix but i love the pkt :)

and olive oil .....\

and cheese and salsa for toppings .....

mix them to gether and u get this ....and put in fridge for 2 hours .....

If U are posh like me ......U will have a fajita grill if not a frying pan will do ......

place the mix on grill and the tortillas in pot ( or tortillas in cling film in micro wave for 30 secs when u are ready for them)

keep on cooking untill cooked .......

Fill the warmed tortillas with chix mix and cheese .... and Eat ...and enjoy ...... :)

It looks lovely Aja. But I have to say this is one recipe I won't be trying as I hate fajita seasoning and the taste of them makes me sick. I lived in New Mexico for 18 years and I can't stand most Mexican food

They do look really tasty, but I have to question your rolling technique - if we ever meet, I'll be making the joints!

Oh, I'm friggin' salivating! I love fajita's!!! Used to eat them all the time when I lived in Texas. They used to use papya enzyme to tenderize the meat and it worked beautifully.

Somehow my leftovers I'm having for supper will won't hit the spot after seeing your pictures!

  The spillage with tacos and other tortilla stuff is the benefit because then you grab another tortilla to wipe it all up. Eatable napkins!

tortillas ain't cheap round these here parts - there's probably some local problem with getting FLOUR that drives the price up!

I'd be prepared to have a fajita-roll-off over this. I'm not playing this one part-time, no way...

haha

Of course the idea of expensive tortillas makes me laugh as well. But it makes sense if there's a supply problem there.

You could always have a fajita wrapped like a burrito!

One thing I do miss is the awesome breakfast burritos from a little hole in the wall place. They made their own tortillas and always made mine just the way I liked it. Extra cheese and ham!
