I'm done

Post by Skylace »

I am done with Christmas shopping and posting. I happy about this. There wasn't much going out and shopping this year since we are busy with the move but I have everyone on my list taken care of! It's such a relief.

I think I've got 4 out of about 8 presents that I need to buy, but there's no chance of christmas cards!

I was done until yesterday when they put out an appeal at work--- they are participating in a "Santa for Seniors" program where you anonymously shop for a needy senior in the community after getting a profile. My lady's list was: "pretty picture frame", hat/scarf/mittens, throw, calendar and perfume/lotion. Nothing fancy to ask for at all so away I went to Wal-mart and got her what she wanted. I only bring this up because, it really felt nice to be doing this for someone else and I'd encourage anyone who's able to do something similar, whether it's a toy or a card, whatever.

That is lovely eefan.
This year we have gotten together a lot of items we don't need or use anymore and have donated them to the VFW. They will come to the house and pick up clothes, kitchen goods, bedding, etc and distribute them to those in need.
And don't forget Toys for Tots!
