CLICK TO WATCH

Here's the clip about computer games in the 80s, though I have to point out a factual inaccuracy of geekish proportions. He talks about the game 'Daley Thompson's Decathlon' and the cuts to video that alludes to being from the game, but the video is actually from 'Hyper Sports'. I was quite chagrined by this moment, I can tell you.

Of course, Brand was only playing on a ZX Spectrum - the real men played Daley Thompson on the C64 and waggled their joysticks for a full 10 minutes in the 1500m race. I'd call Brand a limp wristed wimp if he didn't say it himself!

Here's a download link to the full show - it's a .ctr file, but you can drag it into any media player.

If you search for ponderland, they come up for me - click on the 'show all results' if you see no returns.

Ah yes. I get it now. I was just being batty.

I think this series is turning out quite good - although it's obvious they're using canned laughter, which is extremely annoying. Can't wait for tonight's!

yeh its really funny, its a lot like just going to one of his stand-ups, I saw him at comedy store in london and he's much funnier than on tv, its seems totally improvised and works really well. it was funny when he talking about school and the only fun things happened when a dog was in the playground or it started to pour down in the playground before the teachers had any chance of gathering us all inside, so we could just run around and evade there grasps!

Here's episode 4, in which the lanky streak of arse talks about Sport, and how he'd be good at them all if he wasn't such a lanky streak of arse!

Ponderland Viewing Figures

Monday 0.8 million
Tuesday 0.6 million
Wednesday 0.5 million

I'm quite surprised really - but maybe it's because it's on every night.

Here's tonight's show - I think it's episode 6, but I'm not sure if there was one last night...
