The Bolts Start With Authority

Last night was the home opener for the Tampabay Lightning. I think that I have mentioned that we are pretty avid fans and since my knuckleheaded brother decided to go to LA to visit a friend, my niece and I went. This year's slogan is Love it Live and let me just tell ya....WE DID! The mighty Bolts took down the New Jersey Devils with a final score of 3-1. Lydia and I were just beside ourselves. We even got photographed for the official website. As soon as the photos are up, I will post the link. I know it is only one game, but it is better to win that game than to lose...and to beat the Devils, the team that knocked us out of the play offs last year...priceless!

Pirty's a fan of some new york team, do you get to meet at some point?

If I remember correctly, Pirty is a Rangers fan (Pirty, don't hit me if you are an Islander fan!! I just can't remember..) and our teams do meet (in either case - Rangers or Islanders). Since we are in the same conference, we see each other several times a season.

I love going to see ice-hockey games! Went to see the Caps a few times last season - sadly they really sucked

Amazing! I just saw that the Caps are 3-0! They might have taken the turn to the better this season!
