Here's a video of him and Barry White singing a duet. Why Barry White agreed to do it when his voice in comparison sounds like a mouse at a roar-like-a-lion festival is beyond me!

He surely will be missed. How sad. He suffered for a year with the cancer didn't he? Yeah, now he can rest in peace after having given his beautiful gift to mankind.

I just managed to view the Pavarotti Barry White duet and I fully agree with you faceless - next to Pavarotti, White actually sounded pretty lame and bad!!

I was so upset when I woke up this morning to find he had passed .....I have many great memories of seeing him live .... and also many great memories of the 1990 world cup...I so wanted cammeroon to win :D

The Last Time i saw him Was at the free concert in Hyde park in 1991 and what a Rainy nite that was :)

I have a couple of clips to show You .....That I found to day ..... I had always loved Barry white and one That u posted was so not the Barry I knew ..... But this one of James brown and him is WICKED .......

Cheers for sharing that one Aja - JB and LP really complemented each other in a surprising way. Excellent stuff.


I actually quite like the one with Barry White too - sad to think all three of these icons have passed now.

well i could post tons ........

The worst thing about being a world traveller is That You tend to leave bulky things behind you...... in my case records and vhs tapes ..... and its only when great memories You have and the people You have them of die and all your music and vhs stuff is long gone U realize .... what a pain being a semi gypsy is ....... :D

I have so many wonderful memories of This man ........ and i will just leave U with a famous one .......cos it still made me cry tonite like it did so many years ago .....

Rest in peace mate ...... we all love You :)

yes mate we are losing great people left right and centre ..... so very sad .......and yes that JB and LP was Amazing :)
